Danish soprano Katrine Deleuran is acclaimed for her “overpowering” yet “watercoloured” voice (Opera Online), compelling stage presence, and genuine communication.She has appeared with Konzert und Theatre St. Gallen, performing Gertrud (Hänsel und Gretel) and returned in 2025 as Die Aufseherin/Die Vertraute in Strauss' Elektra. Competition highlights include reaching the semi-finals of the Elizabeth Connell Prize, as well as appearances at the Tenor Viñas, Stignani, and Renata Tebaldi competitions. A graduate of the Royal College of Music and the Royal Danish Academy of Music, she previously earned a bachelor's in Musicology and Gender Studies from the University of Copenhagen. Deleuran has refined her artistry through the Verbier Festival, the Leeds Lieder Festival, and collaborations with internationally renowned coaches and artists.
