Danish soprano Katrine Deleuran, applauded for her “overpowering… [and] watercoloured” voice, is a freelancing opera singer based in Munich, Germany. Deleuran’s journey into classical music started in her early twenties. During her first years of studying her vocal instrument, she simultaneously discovered all the other different assets it takes to become a professional musician.

Starting as a mezzo-soprano, Deleuran’s voice developed into a young dramatic soprano during her Master’s studies, evident in her varied repertoire. This year, Katrine proudly presented Denmark and competed in the 61st Teñor Viñas Competition in Barcelona.
