Danish soprano Katrine Deleuran, applauded for her “overpowering… [and] watercoloured” voice, is a freelancing opera singer based in Munich, Germany. Deleuran’s journey into classical music started in her early twenties. During her first years of studying her vocal instrument, she simultaneously discovered all the other different assets it takes to become a professional musician.

Starting as a mezzo-soprano, Deleuran’s voice developed into a young dramatic soprano during her Master’s studies, evident in her varied repertoire. This year, Katrine proudly represented Denmark as a semifinalist in the Elizabeth Connell Prize International Singing Competition in London.
